I chose Action Potential because they offered 1-1 Physical Therapy, which is hard to find. My issue was shoulder pain/weakness. Making appointments is very easy, the people at reception are consistently pleasant and helpful. After a thorough initial evaluation, I was scheduled 2xs a week with Danielle. She was compassionate and knowledgeable and she wanted me to get better as much as I wanted to! One of the best aspects was the Action Potential App. My PT would download short videos, demonstrating the exercises we did each session, so I could continue them at home between session. Very happy with my experience at this facility.
Action Potential has a wonderful PT program. The clients see the same physical therapist at every visit, and your therapist stays with you throughout your appointment. My therapist was very knowledgeable. I liked the way they post your home exercises online. The atmosphere at the facility is very positive and relaxing. My experience at Action Potential was great! Best of all, my neck pain is gone.

My experience with the staff and therapists was exceptional. I felt a genuine partnership was quickly established with a targeted goal. Exercises in each session were specific to my current condition as well as progressive. I did not feel at any time I was just going through the motions.

Probably the best experience I have had in an outpatient therapy program. I wouldn’t change a thing!

I’ve had PT from the time I was twenty-something, and have never been as well served, nor made so much progress as at Action Potential. They run everything differently- your Therapist never leaves your side, exercises – always creatively planned and customized to your body and needs – vary according to your comfort and energy levels. I can’t say enough good things so let my progress in core and balance strength speak for me.

Action Potential is responsible for relieving a four month bout of low back pain that failed to respond to several other modalities. One on one with a competent physical therapist rendered me pain free. Highly recommend!

My past experiences w PT have always been less than stellar. Usually I’ll take the pt script and just toss it. I’m used to the typical facility that uses ancient equipment, gives you a routine to do there and at home, and then leaves you alone for the whole appt. Luckily, the recommended place was booked months out and I found this place from fb recommendations. At Action Potential, you have private 1 on 1 40min appointments. The exercises are different than the at home plan. There’s goals to reach and adjustments made along the way. It was really effective in my recovery and I strongly recommend them.

After years of struggling with lower back pain I have finally found a partner on my road to recovery in Dana at Action Potential. She listened with curiosity and treated my pain as something to investigate and get to the bottom of. She specializes in pelvic floor health which I never imagined was deeply connected to my hip and back pain. Working with her for the last few months I have gained strength and endurance, significantly reduced my pain, learned more about my body, and felt empowered to continue exercising safely on my own. Highly recommend!

“I’ve been to multiple physical therapy clinics over the years, and I’ll say, without hesitation, that Action Potential is the best I’ve experienced. The personalized program, the one-on-one treatment by a DPT, the expertise of the provider, the interactive app with videos of the exercises that I can perform at home with accuracy, the friendly and outgoing staff, the attention to detail, and the consistent follow-up and professionalism all come together to create an exceptional experience. I don’t feel that this kind of treatment is offered anywhere else. I drove 30 minutes each way for my appointments, and it was worth every mile. A special shout out to Angelica, my therapist, who had such a positive energy, and was experienced, thorough, encouraging, and an all-around cool chick. Thank you all for helping me reclaim my mobility, and for getting me back to living life to the fullest!”

I couldn’t have made a better choice than selecting Action Potential for all of my physical therapy needs. I was immediately made to feel welcome and comfortable from the office staff as well as my therapist, Casey Sinex. Having been a patient for both pelvic floor therapy and shoulder surgery (at the same time) my selection of Action Potential was so worth it. I loved the small office, as well as the warm and friendly atmosphere. Casey is a total rockstar! Thanks Action Potential!

I worked with Sarah who has helped my back pain so much. For months I was in pain and I finally “graduated” and am pain free which I never thought would happen. I also tried dry needling back in April and I haven’t been in pain in that area since. Tracey and Heather who worked the front desk were very friendly and welcoming each time I walked in. They also have a texting service which was very convenient for me. I did work with the other therapist Dana once who was also great. I can not say enough great things about action potential and will highly recommend them to anyone who needs PT.

This was my second time needing PT, and I thought my first experience (at another popular office) was fine. This go around eclipsed that experience– the one-on-one attention really makes all the difference. I was able to ask all of my silly nuance questions to make sure I was getting the most out of the experience and Angelica’s expertise. I felt like she understood the impact my pain was having on my life and helped me to regain strength for both practical movement and my larger goals. Plus I got a fun cheeky T-shirt for graduating 😁 Highly recommend this office!

Working with Jen at AP super-charged my recovery from a long, painful back injury. I feel stronger and smarter in my body and movement than I have in many years because of the physical therapy I received. And I now have a lot of tools to use as I continue to get stronger. Thank you!

I went to Action Potential in Glen Mills a few years ago after leg surgery, and was very happy with the experience and the outcome. A few months ago, a new injury left me in need of PT again, and this time I ended up in the Media office. Once again, the experience was great, and the pain that led me there is now gone. Sarah is a fantastic therapist…very knowledgeable and a great personality. She listens to what I say about my injury, like where the pain is and what triggers it, and adjusts my therapy based on that. The one-on-one approach to PT that Action Potential uses is also a big factor in the experience. There’s no sharing of your therapist while you are there; never a moment of uncertainty about what you should be doing, or waiting for your therapist to return from another patient when you are done an exercise. The front desk staff that was there during my visits (usually Tracy, but sometimes Heather) also deserve a shout out, as they were a key part of creating a welcoming, friendly, upbeat environment.

Megan is incredible. I wish I would have done the Birth Prep class with her for my first child. I wish I did not wait until having my second to find her! She has taught me more than I ever could have imagined about my body and now me AND my husband are way more prepared heading into this delivery! If only we would have done this our first time around I feel my first labor and delivery would have gone so much better than it did. I would encourage any mom but especially a first time mom to invest in the pelvic floor therapy and additionally the birth prep classes with Megan. She doesn’t just teach you to breath, trust me, it’s WAY more than that and I am so grateful to have found her and Action Potential. Cannot recommend enough!

I cannot say enough great things about Kathy and the rest of the team at Action Potential in Glen Mills! Amazing and very talented group of physical therapists. I initially saw Kathy for postpartum core issues, which she was able to help me quickly resolve. I also mentioned that I had long term neck pain that hadn’t improved much with previous PT. I had spent years trying to manage it with stretching, massage, muscle relaxers, foam rolling, etc, and nothing helped for more than a day or two. Kathy put together a customized plan with stretching, strengthening, and dry needling. I saw noticeable improvement right away and within a few weeks my 10+ years of neck pain was essentially cured. Honestly it is life changing to not be in constant pain anymore— I have so much more energy and am in a better mood and able to be more present for my family without being run down with pain. I’m so glad I found Action Potential and truly appreciative of all they did to help me become pain free! Highly recommend them for any PT needs!

I just completed 3 1/2 months of physical therapy at Action. Kristen and her team are so good at what they do. Everyone knows you when you go in you never get a recording when you call unless they’re closed. The energy is upbeat and positive. The space is immaculate and I can’t say enough about the professionalism with which each therapist and receptionist possess.
I’ll miss seeing them all but thankfully I live nearby and can just stop in and say hello. It’s a beautiful family of people that love what they do and make you better.

Action Potential physical therapy is life changing. After back surgery, the outstanding physical therapists had me fully functioning in just a few weeks. Then, after getting both of my knees replaced, they worked their magic again. Not only did I fully recover, but I feel better than I did 30 years ago. I definitely could not have recovered so successfully without Action Potential. There is no better feeling than returning to an active lifestyle and being pain free.

As an active 74 year old, I have used various physical therapy businesses over the years, and out of all of them, ACTION POTENTIAL, has the most amazing and professional attention to detail out of ALL of my experiences!!
1. I have never had a 1 on 1 for an entire 40 minutes complete with a warm up, deep muscle massage, and key movements specifically designed to meet my needs! No uncertified assistants were needed as well, since the certified pt never left my side and she was extremely attentive to make any adjustments necessary!
2. I have never been able to have the same therapist to care for me for the entire length of weeks due to time constraints but I have had Dana van der Kieft for 6 full weeks!!
3. I have never been sent reminders for my sessions ever before! This eliminates any confusion!
4. Action Potential doesn’t have a room full of machines (that average folks don’t have) but they do have knowledge of various movements/exercises that can be done even at your home that are specific to target your particular weakness.
5. I was never handed a card with various machine exercises to be done on my own.
6. I was never instructed to do the same exercises over and over for 6 weeks, but each week was full of progression and variety which made every visit engaging and exciting!!
7. Dana made use of an app which enabled her to record HER voice and MY movements for exercises that I could do at home. It is also helpful for communicating with her directly if necessary; however, I never felt the need to make use of that feature since she was so thorough and professional at each appointment.
I forgot to mention that I go to the Media site!
Needless to say, I am extremely grateful to have discovered ACTION POTENTIAL and DANA VAN DER KIEFT!!!!
