Carolyn was born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey. Although Carolyn hasn’t lived full time in New Jersey since college, she still loves Bruce Springsteen and enjoys frequent trips to the Jersey Shore, which is her happy place.
Carolyn graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She started her career working in the hospital and home health settings, with a sprinking of teaching, before making a PT career pivot to outpatient physical therapy. After giving birth to her oldest daughter in 2022, Carolyn quickly realized the gap in care for pelvic health. She hoped to play a part in filling this gap by studying and reading everything she could to provide the best possible care for this population. She is an active member of the APTA and volunteers with the Academy of Pelvic Health on the Practice & Advocacy Committee.
Carolyn lives in Lancaster City with her husband, two daughters, and chocolate lab. In her spare time, she enjoys movement of any kind, nerding out on pelvic floor PT research and podcasts, and watching reality TV.
